The Queensland source story
Pure ASP+ is sourced from a natural diatom deposit in Queensland, Australia. This unique inland source is rich in ancient diatomaceous earth.
Our source is carefully selected and processed to help ensure a high-quality, amorphous silica powder.
A deposit formed over millions of years
Diatoms are microscopic algae that build their cell walls from silica drawn out of the water around them. As generations of diatoms settled on the floor of ancient freshwater lakes, those silica shells accumulated layer on layer into what is now called diatomaceous earth.
The Queensland deposit we draw from sits inland, where the material has stayed dry and undisturbed. That stability is part of why the silica has kept its amorphous structure rather than converting to a crystalline form.
From deposit to sachet
The raw material is selectively extracted, dried and milled. There is no chemical extraction and nothing is added — the powder that goes into each sachet is the deposit itself, cleaned and sized.
Every batch is sampled and sent to an accredited Australian laboratory before release. Composition, particle size and respirable content are all checked, and the reports are published rather than summarised.
How to use
Add one sachet to at least 250 ml of water or your preferred food or beverage.
Mix well and follow the directions on the pack.
